About Me

Kellyisms was what my dad referred to all the quirky sayings and doings I lived and breathed back in high school. The unique, one of kind things one-liners that just made you chuckle and wonder where in the world my brain pulled it from. 

I had the domain parked for years waiting for something to do with it, thus the first version of kellyisms.com formed during the first covid quarantine. It was all about my travels and advice on where to go and how to do it. It was fun for a time, and it held a place when I needed it to be there.

Fast forward.. Little miss Emmie Lou got immortalized on a beer can and kellyisms.com evolved into showcasing all things Mimi and the adventures she has taken me on over the past 9 years.

Keeping this site revolving around Mimi was something I always knew was temporary. Life ebbs and flows in ways I can quite literally never see coming, and Kellyisms encompasses so much more than the piece of my life that is Emmie Lou.

Through Covid it was just us against the world, and honestly created some of my favorite memories. While I cherish those times and sometimes wish things were that simple again, life has inevitably changed and I'm ready for Kellyisms to morph into something bigger.

It was great having a page dedicated just to us and our adventures (and trust me, those won't be going anywhere), things are just going to be looking a little different as I expand to all the other facets of my life that make up Kellyisms.

Book rec's, travel tips, hiking trails, pup gear and advice, retirement planning, virtual assisting, low-tox living, financial goals, and anything else KJ related that ya'll would want to hear about or that I may get into moving forward.
